Android HTC HD2 (NAND) installation. TURN ON CAPTIONS! Get rid of the stock original Windows Mobile ROM step by step. For this tutorial I’ve reflashed the original HTC Vodafone ROM (Spain) from goldcard (system + spl 3.03) (RUU_Leo_S_Vodafone_SPA_3.14.164.4_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship) then installed everything from scratch: HARDSPL 2.08 – MAGLDR v1.13 – 150Mb ClockWorkMod – HyperDroidGBX v11. NOTE!!!! —— Before proceeding download the latest HyperDroidGBX (v11 at date) and copy it on the FAT32 formatted microSD. Then insert the card on your mobile because the last step of the tutorial is to flash the ROM…. —— The same procedure can be used for any CWM flashable ROM that uses the 150Mb CWM Recovery. NOW its more-so STABLE, ran it 2 days straight now, no freezng, no green screen of death and all the things i need works, camera, phone calls, texts, market, wifi, 3g and usb sync. Steps are simple: Preliminary: oh your HD2 go to SETTINGS, then click the lower right on MENU, then click the ALL SETTINGS tab that pops up. Go down, click on POWER, then BACKLIGHT and make sure you UNCHECK the Auto backlight option because if left on, your back-light may never go out on Android, so UNCHECk it. A quick demo of a HTC Leo HD2 running the latest Android.4.1 (Ice Cream Sandwich/Jelly Bean) It runs well for a phone of its age. After altering CPU Frequency, the phone can run really fluidly. It takes longer to boot and load apps unlike newer phones, but it still runs the software fine. The only feature i discovered to be not working, was the video recording function in the stock camera app. – If you download an app for video recording, it will work… (ROM LINK) – I believe this is the ROM i am using in this video (i flash different roms all the time) Install at your own risk… forum.xda-developers.com
